I created this website to be a publicly accessible repository of my research and personal projects. I'm excited to have this platform to share my work and life with you.

Here's a bit about me, academically:

I am a second-year PhD student in Biostatistics at the University of Washington. I work with Dr. Jon Wakefield, the Space Time Analysis Bayes (STAB) lab, and the Gates Foundation, where I study spatial field correlation in childhood mortality indicators. My work focuses on using complex survey data to produce estimates that are reliable and interpretable at the subnational level.

Before starting my PhD, I was a research fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, where I used latent class longitudinal modeling to study associations between puberty and cancer. I worked on the Epidemiology Branch, which solidified my desire to do statistics in a health-focused discipline.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Macalester College (Twin Cities, MN) in 2024, with minors in Anthropology and Community & Global Health. Broadly, my research interest is in the development and application of joint longitudinal-survival models in correlated public health data. I'm passionate about making my work accessible, specifically to those the data is collected on.
