This page is reserved for my current research I’m doing with the STAB lab at UW. Overall, my aim is to analyze spatial field correlation among different age bands for under-5 mortality rate (U5MR), specifically at subnational levels. To do so, we use small area estimation using hazards from the different age bands and smooth over nearby areas (Fay-Herriot) or over individual clusters (unit-level betabinomial models).
